CONNECTIONS — ISSUE 7
Seven students in the Upper School contemporary sculpture class took an adventure into the world of sculpture during a weekend field trip in November to the Storm King Art Center and Dia:Beacon in New York State’s Hudson Valley. Both of the venues feature monumental works, some three stories tall, some made only of string, and some best experienced by walking around within the forms. The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, and the art was impressive and affecting.
